Posted: 21 October 2019

The Role

In line with our growth aspirations we are seeking to expand and strengthen our Cloud solutioning capability, specifically in the UK.

As a Cloud Architect (ERP) you will work to support the creation of various Cloud-based solutions and services for our customers (UCaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

The role will include;

  • The ability to answer deep technical questions on Application Architecture and Development in the Cloud (public, private or hybrid) and solutions being recommended through examples or demonstrations
  • End-to-end solution shaping and solution architecture for Cloud Applications Migration and Modernisation, including estimation, solution planning and interlocking with the appropriate Resulting teams to create the optimal customer outcome
  • Delivering technical leadership and architecture on our engagements, as well as feedback around the evolution of the solution
  • Defining Resulting solution offerings for cloud Application services and delivery capability including Managed Services
  • Liaising with other solution architects in similar roles and global product management to define standardised solution baselines, application add-ons as well as industrialised delivery options.
  • Planning for and supporting service implementation, service transition, and service introduction activities including the appropriate change management services.
  • Working closely with our Talent Communities acting as a SME in Cloud Application Architecture and solutions, supporting our teams with their capability development and skills growth.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with delivery centre solution architects and contributing to the Resulting collaboration community.

A bit about you

We're looking for solution architecture experience in Microsoft & SAP environments and mobile applications and your previous experience will be within the utility industry or large, complex enterprises and have experience of different IT delivery approaches (waterfall, agile, lean…).

You will…

  • Ideally be educated to degree level BSc or equivalent.
  • Have significant experience as a Technical, Product, Solution Architect or System Design Authority with strong knowledge of architecture methodologies, principles and frameworks, ideally TOGAF.
  • Have practical experience of defining technology domain roadmaps and working with 3rd party delivery partners.
  • Have extensive years’ practical IT architecture experience and are fully experienced at dealing with stakeholders.
  • Be known to be a proficient and effective communicator.

You must be able to work in the UK and Europe without the need for a Visa or sponsorship.

Resulting is an equal opportunity employer. Resulting is committed to providing an inclusive work environment that encourages and welcomes diversity with a zero tolerance policy of harassment and discrimination.

We're growing fast and need people who want to be part of our growth journey, meaning that you'll get the benefits of working with an experienced team in an agile, energetic, start-up style environment.

If you're doing too much travelling in your current role, this is your opportunity to achieve a better balance than working away on a long-term basis.

You'll also be assigned to an experienced Board Member as a mentor - who will provide the kind of coaching and support that will push your career on to another level.

We're particularly interested in people who've been around SAP, Data Warehousing and Marketing. We're also interested in people who have worked on large business and IT change programmes where there has been a focus on a new operating model and change management.
