The Role

A role of a Junior Finance Consultant is to provide their subject matter expertise whilst analysing business specific requirements. The Junior Finance Consultant is instrumental in the successful implementation of any ERP or SAP project throughout all phases to go-live and to provide confidence to end users.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Finance Consultant Include:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the business processes within the specialised functional area
  • Analysis of business requirements for any changes within the ERP system
  • Work closely with the business to ensure end user experience is of the highest standard
  • Confirmation of business requirements via the participation in workshops 
  • Providing continual support and guidance to end users  
  • Working with third parties and any Systems Integrator to ensure a streamlined delivery of the programme of work
  • Liaises with internal stakeholders and colleagues as necessary to ensure successful implementation
  • Implement and adhere to company Policies, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures 

A bit about you

We're looking for a Junior Finance Consultant who has Finance/Controlling experience in an end user capacity.  You should be familiar with all facets of finance, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables & Payables, Asset Management and Cost Centre Accounting.  This role would suit a Management Accountant within a manufacturing or FMCG Environment who has ideally worked as a super user on a previous SAP/ERP Project.

You will:

  • Have good understanding of data especially with spreadsheets/pivot table
  • Have a hands on approach, be inquisitive, willing to develop and learn new skills
  • Have a desire and energy to work at pace, deliver quality, collaborate effectively, and have a mindset and personality to resolve and drive through solutions to problems.
  • Experience on large scale business projects
  • In depth knowledge of business processes and any relevant workstream experience
  • Have the ability to encourage and influence others to seek and create innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities.
  • Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Have advanced skills in Microsoft Project, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint.

You must be able to work in the UK and Europe without the need for a Visa or sponsorship.
