SAP Technical Architect

We deliver a range of consulting services to our customers to enable them to be more successful with their SAP journey. Having cemented our position as the leading, independent SAP consultancy, we are expanding our team to support our continued growth. 

You will be a highly motivated SAP Basis consultant or SAP Technical lead/architect and wanting to move away from hands-on work with good written and verbal communications and presentation skills which are a must. 

You must be able to understand that SAP is not always the right answer and therefore you must have an appreciation of non-SAP ERP and supporting technologies. 

Preferably you will have a consultancy background however a good end-user Technical Leader e.g. Head of Netweaver would also be considered.

Skills required:

• Deep experience in SAP BASIS/NetWeaver and SAP Integration Architecture
• Experience with the design and deployment of SAP solutions in SaaS and  Hyperscaler environments, including knowledge of sizing and migration
• Experience in defining technical architectures to support highly available solutions
• Experience of SAP NetWeaver (ABAP and JAVA), SAP HANAand SAP SaaS solutions
• SAP Solution Manager
• Release, Environment and Change Management
• Have experience of supporting pre-sales engagements and responding to RFP’s etc
• Knowledge of other ERP solutions such as Oracle, Workday, Unit4 etc

You will have experience of: 

• SAP Technical Architecture – Infrastructure/Cloud and/or Integration (including technical roadmaps, migration approaches and best practice)
• Cloud and Hybrid architectures (including SAP BTP, Hyperscaler based SAP landscapes, SAP RISE projects and SAP SaaS solutions)
• Usage of SAP Solution Manager and other management tools for projects and BAU
• Waterfall, Hybrid-Agile and Agile methods and the architectures to support them

Ideally:

• 5+ years experience in SAP delivery and/or support
• Hold relevant SAP & Hyperscaler certifications
• An understanding of the SAP Roadmap, other Tier 1 and Tier 2 ERP Vendors and industry trends

You must be able to work in the UK and Europe without the need for a Visa or sponsorship.
